Meet James Johnston

Mr. Johnston is an Academic Success Coach in Evolve Learning Community’s therapeutic educational program. 

 James Johnston recently obtained a master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and is pursuing licensure. Mr. Johnston identifies as being “on the spectrum” which gives him additional insight and knowledge in addressing the myriad of needs of our students and the clients he serves. In addition to being an Academic Success Coach for Evolve’s students in the therapeutic educational program, he facilitates Dungeons & Dragons groups and the monthly teen outings and sees clients in his private practice. James is passionate about and specializes in helping teens and young adults develop and maintain social connections and support networks. He enjoys spending time with his family, friends, traveling and playing video games in his leisure time.
